Hello everyone,

I'm a Dynu user from quite some time now, and I'm tremendously happy with it.

In the last few days, I bumped into an issue quite unfamiliar and I'd like to ask if anyone has ever faced the same situation: it involves serving RTSP content over Dynu DDNS remote connection.

I have some IP CAMERAS (HIKVISION) around my property and I have been usually able to access them remotely with the relatively classic "Port Forwarding" using a Dynu DDNS.
As of a few days tough, It seems that I can connect remotely only on the server port of those cameras (namely port 80) when using my DYNU DDNS; if I try to access the RTSP port (namely port 554) the connection will fail.

I am sure that the Port Forwarding is done correctly, and that my router correctly forwards outside requests on those ports to the Internal IP addresses of the IP CAM: in fact, I even used the Dynu Port Checker Utility to make sure of it.

The thing that led me to suppose that there is an issue with the DDNS Service is that If I change DDNS Provider - leaving all other settings untouched - then remote connection over RTSP works perfectly.

I'm pretty confused by this result, and I couldn't find any documentation on-line about a similar issue, so I'm asking Comunity if anyone has ever encountered a similar issue or has a potential solution to suggest.

Thanks a lot for your time!

Update:

After many tests, with different DNS Providers and different IP Camera, I can confirm that DYNU service is apparently blocking RTSP Connection.

I'll try to raise a support ticket to learn more about this limitation.
