Topic: TP-Link ER605 badauth when trying to use group name
Hi all, I have a remote site with a Dynu DDNS assigned for it and that site use a TP-Link ER605 VPN router. The DDNS is assigned to a group with a unique password to update IP address. In the ER605 page the Update URL worked fine: https://api.dynu.com/nic/update?username=[USERNAME]&password=[PASSWORD]&hostname=[DOMAIN]Then under the Custom DDNS at the "Account Name:" box when I tried either the Dynu username or the Group name, and clicking "OK" to save the settings, I still get a message of "badauth". When I changed it back to the Dynu username and the known good password that I used for other DDNS sites for "Account Name:" and "Password:", it returns with "good (IP address)" and updated the IP address of that site in Dynu. Question is how do I make the TP-Link ER605 to authenticate with the unique group name and password (that is different from the other DDNS sites)? Thanks.
