I have setup a website using my machine at home. I am able to access the website from work and other users are able to access it too. But oddly enough, I can't seem to be able to access it from home.

I checked the DNS and it points to the current IP address of the router so I am not sure how to resolve this issue. Does anyone have similar issue?

Actually, I had exactly the same issue. The problem lies in the router which somehow prevents accessing anything with the external IP address of the router. To resolve the issue, I added an entry into the 'hosts' file and pointed the domain name to the internal IP address of the machine.

Could you please tell me how exactly you added the entry into the hosts file? I am unable to save the changes to the hosts file even if I open it as an administrator.

You can copy the hosts file from %windir&\system32\drivers\etc\hosts to the desktop first. Then add the entry(replace IP address and domain name) as shown below:

192.168.0.44 www.XXXXXXX.eu

Then copy the edited hosts file from the desktop to %windir&\system32\drivers\etc folder.
