Topic: Hikvision DDNS Configuration
Please help, I have recently changed to Dynu from NoIP and I am currently trying to set up my Hikvision Security Camera but it is not connecting to the server and I just cannot understand why. My settings in my Hikvision configuration area below.
Enable DDNS -ticked
DDNS Type - DynDNS
Server Address - api.dynu.com
Domain- mysitename.dynu.net
User Name - mydnyuusername
Password - mydnyupassword
Status: "Connect to server failed"

Hi there,
I know this a late response, however. Have you checked the DNS address settings on the DVR/NVR NIC?
Putting googles DNS may cure the issue: 8.8.8.8 and 4.4.4.4
