Hello,
I just created an account for the DDS service with domain safercomputing.com (tstur user) - however I realized that I cannot pick and choose which subdomain I want the DDNS service for after I created the account.
I would like the DDNS service to be only for static.safercomputing.com - I need to keep my current records for safercomputing.com as is, including the wildcard - which I don't seem to be able to do on your DNS panel.

Thanks
Tom

You should be able to just 'Delete' safercomputing.com in the control panel and use the 'Add' button to add static.safercomputing.com. That should keep all your records for safercomputing.com intact and allow you to manage DNS/DDNS for just static.safercomputing.com. BTW, make sure to add Dynu name servers (NS records) for static.safercomputing.com otherwise the changes you see in control panel etc will not really be in effect on the general internet.
